Dr. Leon
F. Woodruff
Dr. Leon F. Woodruff was born at the old Rex Hospital and grew up in Selma, NC.
He attended UNC Chapel Hill and Bowman Gray School of Medicine. His internship
was at the University of Virginia where his daughter was born and his
residency was at Vanderbilt where his son was born. Dr. Woodruff and Dr.
Bill Goldston began the present practice in 1978. Dr. Woodruff is Board
Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also a member of the North Carolina
Medical Society. Dr. Woodruff lives near North Hills with his wife. They like skiing and
the beach and are involved with many community and church activities.
He and his wife became grandparents in May, 2002.

Dr. Myra L. Teasley
Dr. Myra L. Teasley grew up in a small town near Nashville,
Tennessee and graduated from David Lipscomb College. She went on to receive
a Masters degree in Science Teaching from Middle Tennessee University
in 1980. In 1985 she graduated from, The University of Tennessee Medical
School at Memphis. She did her residency in Ob-Gyn at Pitt County Memorial
Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina, and joined the practice in 1989.
Dr.Teasley is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a
Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also a member
of the North Carolina Medical Society. She is married and has one son.
Dr. Teasley is now exclusively practicing gynecology and
well-woman care.

Dr. Tammi Stephens
Dr. Tammi Stephens grew up in a small town near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
where she has recently been named to her High School's Sports Hall of
Fame. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 1984 with a B.S.
in Microbiology. She completed Medical School and her Residency in OB-Gyn
at The University of Virginia.
Dr. Stephens joined the practice in 1994. Dr. Stephens is Board
Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also a member of the North
Carolina Medical Society. She is an accomplished runner
and since joining the group has completed the Marine Corps, New York City,
and Boston Marathons. She lives in Cary, is married and has two sons.

Dr. Amy Groff
Dr. Amy Groff is from Solon, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland.
She moved to North Carolina where she attended Duke University and obtained
both her undergraduate and medical degrees. She stayed at Duke for her
residency in
Ob-Gyn, finishing in 1999, when she joined our practice.
Dr. Dr.Groff is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a
Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also a
member of the North Carolina Medical Society. Groff enjoys pets, travel, and outdoor activities. She lives in Raleigh,
is married and has 4 children.

Dr. Sarah
Daniel Maddison
Dr. Sarah Maddison is a North Carolina
native, born in Rocky Mount. She received her undergraduate degree at
UNC-Chapel Hill and attended medical school at East Carolina University's
Brody School of Medicine. She returned to Chapel Hill for her residency
training, which she completed in 2002. Dr.Maddison is Board
Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and also a member of the North
Carolina Medical Society. Dr. Maddison is married to Bo Maddison, who
is a Raleigh native and certified public accountant. They enjoy traveling,
cooking, and outdoor activities. Sarah and Bo have a two year old son, Beck, and just had their second child, a girl...Kate... in March of 2008.

Dr. Eloise Watson
Dr. Eloise Watson is our most recent addition to our group. She is originally from Oxford, NC. She attended college at Duke University and medical school at the University of North Carolina. She completed her residency training at the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Watson is Board eligible. Her husband, Dr. Mark Jalkeet, is a urologist with Wake Urological Associates. They recently welcomed daughter, Chloe, to their new home in Cary.

Dr. Jack R. Inge
Dr. Jack Inge has been in private practice since 1997. He earned his BS, Master of Life Sciences in Microbiology and his Medical Degree at East Carolina University. Dr. Inge completed his residency in OB/GYN at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia and became Board Certified in 1999. Dr. Inge is married with one son and one daughter. He enjoys motorcros, 4-wheeling and kayaking.

Dr. Ruth M.C. Wind
Dr. Ruth Wind was born and raised in Virginia. she completed her undergraduate work at Virginia Commonwealth University, after which she completed her medical school training and OB/GYN residency at VCU's Medical College of Virginia. Last summer she moved to Raleigh and is excited to be part of the great team at Mid-Carolina OB/GYN. She enjoys spendng time with family, friends and her husband Thys.
